Title: 15 Minute Drama - How Does That Make You Feel (Series 5)
Post by: Albert on March 28, 2015, 09:39:21 AM
Episodes here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b05pbyw5 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b05pbyw5)

The radio has been on all week but I was too busy to properly listen in.

Knocking walls down and rebuilding them and concentrating on such stuff can do that. I actually thought the snippets I was hearing were from some odd people phoning in, or being interviewed or something. Anyway, I've work to do and under a lot of pressure....

Then yesterday morning I heard Him. The unmistakeable - Richard Fallon MP and his extreme event ridden life. Yayyy!! And so the penny finally dropped - Martha the psychotherapist and her patients were back on BBC Radio4 15 Minute Drama.

But it's not all about Richard, there are other super characters and stories. So this weeked I will Listen Again. (Can you imagine a life without Listen Again, or email, or the internets. etc. It wasn't that long ago.)

Ahh...the 9th series of 'How Does That Make You Feel?
And this morning -  Episode 1  - was Richard Fallon MP.

It sneaks up on you this stuff, it was a few minutes in before I was laughing out loud. I think I've been on one of those dates you know. Well perhaps the description was so vivid that I just think I've been on one. Experiencing it, safe in my car (for that is where I was at 10:45 this morning) laughing away and grinning. Not sure what the other road users must have thought.

And as for the Strictly reference, well that sent my hysterics into over drive.

I wonder do those in the House of Commons listen to this. I am sure they do.

As with 15 Minute Dramas, this series is repeated at 19:45
https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09ydb7t (https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09ydb7t)

I suppose I am a bit slow, or perhaps my listening is sometimes interrupted in the morning or whatever, but I was so pleased to be able to catch the second playing today. There is a lot of information to take in, and the timing of the exchanges is perfection.

So another session of laughing out loudly, as some of the finer comedy points sunk in second time round.

I love this series.
