6 Music Festival
« on: February 28, 2014, 06:18:32 PM »
It seems so strange that just 3 years ago BBC management were going to axe 6 Music. Tony Hall said in his speech on Wednesday that there is recognition that there will be protest if cuts are made to some services and then the cuts are not made. He actually missed the point, as Darcy has said, some decisions are just wrong, it is not about the protest.

So,  I am delighted to announce the first Festival launched by 6 Music, a station that cares about music is now starting. It is the very opposite of the corporate commercial playlists that play out every day on most stations.
