 New BSKYB Bid: What Could Possibly Be Wrong With That?

Robert Peston described the idea as 'bonkers' on Twitter, although on his blog he is a little more sedate:

The news that New Corp is to split it's business will in the first instance mean nothing, it is just a case of moving eggs into different baskets, they are still murdoch eggs.  The thing that perhaps should be remembered when the bid is resurrected, is just how important the golden egg of BSKYB was, and is.

So important that no one did a thing wrong.  Not a text or email out of place.  Nada.
