BBC Launches Project MoonStick
(1/1)

The BBC unveiled it's Annual Report today and used it as an opportunity to launch it's latest visioning, Project MoonStick. Buoyed by recent technological wonders, such as live tweeting the opening night of the Proms on the Red Button and revealing viewers will be able to experience the Last Night in 3D, Chris Patten of the BBC Truss demonstrated MoonStick.
In describing Mark Thompson as having had 'an outstanding period as Director General' the Lord demonstrated the capacity for the BBC to deliver platform neutral, streaming packets of content, directly to licence payers.
Thompson elaborated 'With erm MoonStick um hard working licence payers can get on with receiving snooker on um Facebook, or with err wireless, poorly licence payers um erm in hospital um can watch Cash In The Attic on their iPans, without really having to worry um about the NHS, or err anything important really'.
As they cuddled one another, Chris spoke further 'Look if it's not on Twitter, no one need care that we just sold Television Centre for £200m whilst we wasted £160m on poorly managed building works and a messed up project with Siemans'.
And, whilst a Lordly hand stroked his 'beard', Mr. Thompson went on 'Whilst Chrissy here is demonstrating how we've managed to put a moon on a stick, everyone forgets that under my watch we tried to shut 6Music, decimate local um thingy.. radio.. and even that um.. erm.. I was the first DG to be the subject of a vote of no confidence'.
As no one mentioned Salford, we imagine this is further proof of the power of project MoonStick.
Tiger:
Absolutely, these reports from Thompson and Patten are from a parallel universe, where public money becomes unimportant to private gain.
And Thompson who has almost destroyed the BBC by paying himself and his executive a fortune..and colluding with dodgy dealing etc and delivering disquality first..has that legacy.
AND Chris Patten is praising that legacy?
What does that tell us about Chris Patten?
