Soul Music Largo

Episode 1 of 5, Series 14 - Does anyone know who sings the Largo on this program sang at the Japanese POW camp? I could not find it on the info on the program at the website. Maybe it was just recorded for the show. If not I'd like to get a copy of it in  full.

Hi, I'm advised that that version came from the CD of the film Paradise Road sung by the Malle Babbe Women's Choir. It's on a Sony Clasical label.

Perfect - thanks - your information has also led me to the fact that a film was made based on what happened at the POW camp.
In fact the CD you pointed me to is the soundtrack of the film.
I'll check them both out.
