This doesn't seem to be being reported in more mainstream media channels so still, all credit to Exaro.

'Rapist' ex-cabinet minister named in Tom Watson's DPP letter

MP launches blistering attack on Met for failing to interview ex-minister over rape claim.

Not much coverage of this in the mainstream as far as I can see but now 53 MP's are backing an inquiry into the organised abuse of children.

Over 100 MPs have now committed their support for an over-arching inquiry.

And in the wake of the continuing Savile revelations, the campaign for the inquiry was covered - finally - by the BBC on Today in Parliament last night.

"Oh you mean that dossier, damn, we seem to have lost the blasted thing !, never mind old chaps"

Really not sure that excuse is going to work.

I think the public are going to be unwilling to accept another cover up, post Savile and Pollard.

It seems to have become rather difficult to keep up with this story, the number of dossiers or even the number of pieces of evidence that have been lost.  It's been across the papers and the BBC today and will be again tomorrow when Leon Brittan will be making a further statement.

Tom Watson has launched a petition https://www.change.org/petitions/david-cameron-and-theresa-may-establish-a-national-inquiry-into-allegations-of-organised-child-abuse

Nice to hear Mark Watts, Editor-in-chief of Exaro on the Media Show this week.

All be it a few days after his appearance on LBC!

And here is the clip.

Incidentally, the Exaro site crashed tonight when they published this link.

And they are preparing to publish what they call a 'staggering disclosure' on Monday which they say will change the course of the CSA Inquiry.

Best wishes to Exaro.

If they have something that must be said. They should  be allowed to say it clearly and with the support of the BBC.

Well done to Exaro.

There is much being said about the fact that it was the personal decision of Lady Butler Sloss to resign because of the need for victims to feel able to give testimony, and blah blah..

But the truth seems to be a bit simpler.

She resigned half an hour after this was published.
